Description

The Everest Pack combines the mid-performance indoor Spruce and outdoor Everest routers. The Everest Pack is ideal for those with a mobile lifestyle who desire peak performance, versatility, and LTE connectivity.

The Spruce is a mid-performance mobile router by WiFiRanger. Both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz WiFi reception and broadcast make the Spruce versatile. The router also has Gigabit LAN ports for connecting hardwired computers and devices. A USB 2.0 port is included for tethering Cellular hotspots and aircards (supported list shown here). The compact size and solid performance of the Spruce make it an ideal mobile router for many consumers. The Spruce is suited for those who want solid indoor WiFi and LAN performance while not needing an indoor integrated LTE modem (available in Custom Pack with Poplar or Aspen).

The Everest is a high-performance outdoor router by WiFiRanger. The outdoor router has 2.4GHz / 5.8GHz WiFi reception and broadcast which makes it versatile. The Everest has a maximum wireless range of 2mi (maximum range is only achievable in ideal conditions when connecting with clear line of sight and a powerful access point). The router has a Gigabit LAN port for connecting to the indoor Spruce. Additionally, the Everest is equipped with an integrated LTE modem (Category 6). This modem allows you to connect to Cellular internet, sharing data with all computers and devices connected to the WiFiRanger Everest Pack (requires data plan for Cellular internet – supported data plans shown here).

    No TV antenna topper option on this unit but yet on the entry leval unit .

    Very confused with the set up. Doesn’t seem to work.

    Need a good step-by-step owners manual. It needs to include defining and explaining each field of the control panel and how to set up advanced rules. You need to test the manual by observing at least a 100 new users try to use the guide without help from opening the box to using it several times.

    We can’t get the converge system to work. Wifi drops every 30 minutes, and takes about as long to reconnect. One of the cell modems worked a little for a few days. The other did not really work at all. Now nothing works. We have had a difficult time getting in touch with/having our messages responded to by the support team. We are currently taking online college courses, so not having internet is very unfortunate.

    The modems and the SIM card being in the ODU makes it too difficult or costly to change plans.
