This adapter can power certain WiFiRanger routers from a 9-36VDC battery system by hardwiring directly using included wire crimps. The V2 model is more reliable and robust than the original 24V Step-up Converter. A Step-up converter improves dependability and consistency of 12V battery systems in order to minimize random reboots on WiFiRanger routers.
