I see that a WiFiRanger can be operated in both standard and advanced modes; what’s the difference?

WiFiRanger products are fully functional in “Standard Mode”. Meanwhile, Advanced Mode provides features that can provide significantly enhanced capabilities for users with technical knowledge. Advanced features can be unhidden with a single switch setting. Although visible, they still aren’t functional until the user chooses to activate them.

Usage tracking is separately controlled through a switch on the Usage tab of the Ranger’s Control Panel. Activating usage tracking also enables the creation of device restrictions (rules). Use of device restrictions is discussed in the Knowledge Base.
