On the WiFi tab, it is possible to adjust the power of the wireless radio to the optimal level which varies by circumstances. In some cases, less is more. Wireless noise is a key factor for wireless performance. To put it in perspective, when there are many people talking in the same room, it gets more difficult to hear as more people talk, or as they talk louder. This principle helps to improve WiFi performance and reliability by selecting the appropriate power.
In general, for those with both an indoor and outdoor WiFiRanger, it is best to set the indoor unit at Low or Medium power while the outdoor unit is on High power. This ensures that the outdoor unit can still achieve maximum long-range connectivity, while the indoor WiFiRanger can still cover the inside of an RV or other space effectively. With the indoor unit on lower power, this eliminates excessive wireless interference, thereby improving wireless performance and range.
