On the Setup tab, the Reboot button on the bottom right allows for a software-initiated reboot. The Reboot is helpful for starting the WiFiRanger fresh, especially after experiencing slow or uncharacteristic behavior. Before rebooting it is recommended that you click Save Changes to ensure that all Control Panel settings are saved.
WFRBoost or WFRControl users should note that an original WiFiRanger Go will maintain POE power output during a software-initiated reboot. To effectively power-cycle both a WiFiRanger Go and Mobile/Marine/Sky/WFRBoost, unplug the Go from power for a few seconds, then plug it back in. This guarantees that both routers will reboot simultaneously, since the Reboot button on the Control Panel merely performs a firmware reboot, not a full power OFF then ON type cycle. On newer products such as the Mini and Go2, then POE output does indeed cycle when performing a software-initiated reboot, so there is no need to manually unplug these units in order to effectively reboot the outdoor unit.
