Yes, in addition to its "private" WPA2 encrypted signal, a WiFiRanger can simultaneously broadcast a second, unencrypted "public" signal. This is ideal if you wish to grant temporary network access to someone.
The public broadcast does have a customizable "access password" which enables you to restrict access only to designated individuals. Despite the use of this access password, the public broadcast is unencrypted.
The Private and Public networks are segregated from each other, keeping those on the Public signal separate from your Private network and devices.
